Manual Formulation
- developer strength and bleach timing won't be tuned to what the hair can actually take — the formula plays it safe but blind;
- the confidence read-out drops to reflect the missing data, so the score you see understates what a clean test could give you.
Mix up to 3 shades. Ratios must total 100g. The formula engine will interpolate target level, tone, and developer accordingly.

πΈ Photo tips for accuracy βΎ
Lighting. Natural daylight where possible. No direct flash, no salon ring lights β they shift colour temperature and the model reads the wrong base.
Distance and framing. Full head from roots to ends in frame. Not extreme close-up. Not from across the salon.
Hair state. Dry hair only. Wet hair reads 1-2 levels darker and changes apparent porosity. Brushed but not slicked back with product.
Background. Neutral if possible. A bright red or green wall throws white balance and the model compensates the wrong way.
Angle. Straight-on or slight side. Not from above or below.
Avoid. Phone beauty modes, filters of any kind, before-and-after split images. They change what the model sees.
